Living The Christian Life

To be a Christian means to be follower of Jesus Christ. It starts with accepting Him as your Savior (Meaning asking Him to forgive you for your sins and accept His death on the cross as payment for those sins) and your Lord (Meaning you turn over your life to Him and ask Him to direct you). This is how the relationship begins. But where do you go from here? You allow Him to work in your life. The Lord will change you, make you into the person He wants you to be. You began to live, what we'll refer to as the "Christian life".

Lving the Christian life...

Starts With God's Wisdom
"The Lord gives wisdom, and from His mouth come knowledge and understanding." Proverbs 2:5

The Lord is full of Love, Truth and Wisdom. He knows ending as well as He knows the beginning. He is the Creator, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Because of His standing as God over all things, there is no one more worthy nor qualified to direct your life. Acknowledging this is the first step.

It Also Requires Moral Application
"Let all those that put their trust in you rejoice, let them shout for joy!" Psalm 5:11

What I mean by "moral application" is making a decision in your heart to follow God's will (Which He will make known to you through the Bible, as an answer to prayer, and as a result of events that occur in your life).

For example, I recently had to put together a dresser. Now there were instructions that came with the dresser and I acknowledge that these instructions were the best way to put it together, but being a guy, I never made a conscious decision to follow them. Until I saw how badly I was messing up! Then I went back and followed the instructions and the dresser was put together properly. So you must first understand that God's way is best, then decide to follow.

Then It Requires Practical Application
"You are My friends if you do what I command" John 15:13

In other words if you're reading your Bible and read, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you," you must apply that Truth to your everyday life. What you read in your Bible you must do to your co-workers, your classmates, your friends, enemies - to everyone! When you start to do this is when your relationship with God grows leaps and bounds. Because what will happen is you will first recognize that you can't live this life without His help and then begin to pray for Him to help you.

The Result Of Living The Christian Life
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6

The verses above sums up the result of leading the Christian life. The path will be made straight for you. There will be times when you don't understand what He is doing. Be still and know He is God and He loves you. There will be times when you fall off the road He will placed you on. He will pick you up and place you back because He is Faithful and Just. And when you have reached journeys end you will finally see where He has been leading you all this time - home with Him.

Jesus is the Creator

     Once you realize that JESUS wasn't just the son of Mary, wasn't just a good teacher and prophet, and isn't just a way to get access to the Father for a few of your requests, but that He, Jesus is the Creator Himself, then everything starts to change. Jesus will no longer then be a mere stepping stone, as so many churchy people believe. He is not just the Way to the Father to be stepped upon and by-passed, but that He is the Father. When you understand this huge difference in belief, then you can start to make progress in His Spirit World.

     Why... because as Jesus said He and the Father are ONE. If you have the Son you have the father and you can't have the Father without receiving the Son. And there is only One Begotten Son of God ….. Only One God and his three manifestations are One .... The Father the Son and the Holy Spirit. they are inseparable and One, totally united and equal.

     And when the Jesus' enemies realized that He was saying He was 'equal to God', they purposed in their heart to kill Him. So now much more should we realize that He is the Father. or as Thomas said. "MY LORD and My GOD" For this is why in the Old Testament it was written concerning Jesus """" For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace'' (Isaiah 9:6) And again confirmed by Micah, the prophet

                 Micah  5: 2  " But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting."

     So did you catch it, Jesus is the Mighty God and the Everlasting Father. These are some of His Names because He is GOD. The Father and Son are One. And as Micah said, the Messiah born in Bethlehem, was from everlasting and is everlasting, because as Jesus himself said. "Before Abraham was, I am". (John 8: 58) Jesus was not just a mere perfected man, but GOD.  he may have been born like us, but He was different. He was the "Son of God" and "God" who always was. he was the great "I am" of the Old Testament and the Creator of All the Universe.

     Therefore you no longer have to think there is any other God besides Jesus. He is the ultimate, beside Him there is No God.  John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. John 1:14  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of Faher,) full of grace and truth.

      For who was the WORD made flesh .... Jesus the Christ. And we know that Jesus made ALL THINGS and without JESUS was not anything made.   This meaning that absolutely nothing was created except by Him. How simple can it be.

     JESUS is the Creator. He is not a social icon for a particular nationality or group because He created every nationality and every country and the Earth itself. Matter of fact He created the Whole Universe, because without Him was there nothing made. JESUS is the Creator, not just of Christians , but of the Jews, and Muslims, and Hindu's and Buddists, and every other religion and every other belief whether New Age or Old Age. He created all of us. So why NOT receive the Creator today
